In August 2020, Samsung Asia planned to launch its new budget flagship phone “Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition”. Due to COVID company can’t do any physical activations and launches in mass numbers and gatherings, so their marketing team has approached Vostok VR to create Augmented Reality presentation of their new phone. Working together with Samsung and Cheil Singapore we were able to delivery project in extremely tight timeline.  

The final delivery consists of three parts: 

  • Augmented Reality Galaxy city exploration (to collect points exploring S20 FE features). 

  • 3D racing game (use points to upgrade car and compete for the vouchers). 

  • Web-version of the app (for iOS users or desktop players). 

The main purpose of solution was to generate interest among Singaporean millennials to participate in AR city exploration, collection of game points and competing for the valuable prizes.  

It was successful, as the app was downloaded 5,000 times within the first month and got to top treading apps of the Singapore Google Play. 

By creating this Application, Vostok VR was able to bring a fun and interactive experience for Samsung buyers, also helping Samsung to increase their Sales during the pandemic.
