Vitaliy Nechaev, director of 360 video production company Vostok VR, appeared alongside Spanish artist, cyborg and activist Moon Ribas at the Singapore LinkedIn headquarters on Friday September 29, 2017.

Both were in attendance to celebrate the launch of PHD’s MERGE | The closing between technology and us. The publication is the media planning agency’s 2017 thought leadership piece on the future of technology and humanity.

The virtual and biological merging of human and machine is already visible as users become more reliant on their smartphones and adopt wearables that seamlessly integrate into bodies. The unity of people and technology is expected to continue at a breakneck speed, vastly changing society’s daily operations and needs. In the event’s panel discussion, Nechaev, Ribas and tech-based marketing experts explored what this continued evolution means for the future of art, brands and media.

Moon Ribas and Vostok VR have recently collaborated on a Virtual Reality Film project launching at Mumbrella360 in Singapore and on Chameleon VR, a 360 cinematic video library and app.
