Vostok VR wins spot in Korea Startup Incubator

Virtual Reality Production Company Vostok VR was chosen to participate in the Korea Startup Challenge (or K-Startup Challenge) accelerated programme for international entrepreneurs. Only 1.5 percent of the 2,400 applicants were chosen for the honor.

As countries around the world are fighting tooth and nail to cultivate globally-competitive startups, Korea is nurturing new businesses in Pangyo Techno Valley through programmes like the K-Startup Challenge. Panyo Techno Valley, just a few kilometers south of Seoul, is considered Korea’s new Silicon Valley.

In addition to mentoring, networking and training, those selected for the programme receive sponsored office space and financial support.

“Vostok VR was honored to be recognized for its virtual reality cinematic content, particularly as South Korea is the titan in Asia Media and Entertainment,” said a VostokVR representative.
